A song about a cabbage floating through space sounds ridiculous until you actually hear it, then it becomes the most soothing three minutes of your day. Kumi Konno's melody dissolves any irony, this isn't cute-as-a-gimmick, it's genuinely tender. The animation moves at the speed of a lullaby, which means it trusts you to sit still and just feel something small and kind.

Cabbage UFO is a one-episode music video made for a song by Kumi Konno. The song appeared on Minna no Uta, a program broadcast by NHK.
