Himari watches Yuu fall for someone else and discovers, too late, that she was never just his friend. The show doesn't pretend this is cute or easily resolved. Two people who built their entire high school life around each other have to decide if what they had survives the moment one of them wants something more, and the answer isn't automatic.

Himari and Yuu have been close friends for years, running their school's gardening club as a pair. Yuu makes accessories from preserved flowers and dreams of opening his own shop, while Himari models and promotes his work online. In their second year of high school, Yuu meets Rin, his first love from childhood, who turns out to be wearing one of his earliest designs. Himari encourages the two to get closer, hoping Rin can pull Yuu out of his creative slump and maybe even become his wife. But Himari has never had a crush of her own, and as Yuu and Rin grow closer, she finds it harder to keep her own feelings for her best friend under control. The result is a romantic comedy about flowers, friendship and first love.
