A rematch where the other team got better and your own team fell apart before kickoff. Tsubasa has to win without Misaki's vision, without Wakabayashi's hands, and against a Schneider who finally cracked the code to stop him. This is what happens when the underdog story doesn't get the easy second act, when everyone learned from last time.
Japan's junior soccer team prepares for a return match against an All Europe squad, but the odds look poor before kickoff. Hyuga refuses to join the team after his third defeat against Nankatsu and trains hard with Kira to perfect his Tiger Shot. Misaki is unable to come, and goalkeeper Wakabayashi is barred from playing because he normally plays for a German team, leaving serious gaps in the lineup. Europe is led by captain Schneider, whose skills have grown and who is determined to beat his rival Wakabayashi with a new illusion shot. As the match goes on, Schneider hits Japan's backup goalkeepers with brutal shots to the face, injuring them until Wakabayashi is finally allowed onto the field. With a weakened roster against a stronger opponent, Tsubasa and his teammates face a hard fight.
