Two short stories make up this Detective Conan special starring Kogoro Mouri. The first half is a longer version of the earlier story The Fugitive Kogorou Mouri, which had not been broadcast on television before this release. The second half is a new segment set on New Year's Day. Together they offer franchise fans one reworked story and one fresh story in a single episode.
