Kaito Kid finally gets a movie where he's not the villain of the week. Conan and crew board a flight to Sapporo as guests of a grateful actress, but the journey becomes anything but relaxing. When the magician appears aboard the plane mid-flight, the stakes shift dramatically. A murder rocks the cabin, transforming what should have been a simple trip into a locked-room mystery happening thousands of feet in the air. Conan must piece together the truth while confined to a metal tube speeding through the sky, unable to escape or call for help. Every passenger becomes a suspect, and every clue points in contradictory directions. Kaito Kid's involvement complicates matters further: is he culprit or unexpected ally?
