Kaito Kid finally gets a movie where he's not the villain of the week. Three separate heists stack into one escalating problem, each one pulling focus from the last until the real theft is happening 30,000 feet in the air and nobody can leave. The plane sequences move so fast they stop feeling like detective work and start feeling like a con artist and a teenage detective actually trying to outthink each other in real time.

Famous actress Juri Maki receives a notice from the thief Kaito Kid, who vows to steal her star sapphire, and she asks detective Kogoro Mouri to protect it. Kogoro believes he has cracked Kid's riddle and expects the theft during her play, where Kid, disguised as Shinichi, matches wits with Conan before escaping. To thank them, Juri invites Kogoro, Ran, Conan and the Detective Boys to Sapporo. During the flight a murder occurs, setting off events that spiral toward disaster high above the clouds, and Conan and Kid become unlikely allies who must save their friends and everyone else on board. Expect a mix of mystery and adventure.
