This is the moment Denji stops being a weapon and remembers he's just a kid trying to feel something real. Reze arrives in rain and ordinary conversation, and suddenly the show trades explosions for the small terror of wanting someone to want you back. The animation doesn't just serve the story, it becomes the story, every frame bleeding color and motion into moments that should be quiet but never are.

Denji has settled into life as a devil hunter with the Public Safety Bureau, living as Chainsaw Man, a boy with a devil's heart. When the elite hunter Makima takes him on a date, his feelings for her grow and he promises never to fall for anyone else. Then, while escaping the rain, he meets Reze, a friendly and flirtatious café worker who wins him over at once. Denji keeps returning to see her, unaware that this new bond may carry serious consequences. The theatrical follow-up to Chainsaw Man mixes action, horror and romance.
