Tokyo, 2117. Kobayashi Shounen the 7th is a boy detective descended from the Kobayashi of Edogawa Ranpo's detective novels. He wants to guard calm everyday life against unknown dangers, above all the ones posed by shadowy criminal groups operating out of sight. His plans rarely work out the way he imagines, though. The result is a short-format comedy mystery told across 13 brief episodes.
