Midori Nagumo has made it to college without giving up her habit of daydreaming, and she would still rather chase fun than face her responsibilities. She is behind on rent, in debt, and her landlady wants her money. Her best friend Niikura, who is her opposite and hopes to become a photographer, has learned not to lend her cash, yet she keeps getting dragged into Midori's schemes. Those schemes bring them to Wako Izumi, a determined but scatterbrained classmate who photographs whatever strikes her as fun. The three end up sharing an apartment in a city called City, where strange and unusual things happen every day. Based on Keiichi Arawi's manga, the series is a surreal slapstick comedy set in everyday life, mixing laughs with warmer, more emotional moments.
