Three young girls in Tokyo's Ueno district call themselves the Colors and claim to be the city's protectors. The noisy Sacchan, the shy Yui Akamatsu and the gamer Kotoha spend their days playing make-believe, wandering the neighborhood and solving imaginary mysteries. Daigorou Kujiraoka, a grandfatherly shopkeeper they call Pops, keeps the trio amused with the odds and ends in his store. Their favorite villain is Saitou, a local policeman who would rather get on with his ordinary work but still plays along with their games. The result is a light slice-of-life comedy about a make-believe hero squad that never truly defends Ueno but cheers up the people around them.
