Nobody is watching Code Geass R2 for these picture dramas. You're watching because five minutes of Lelouch's world stops pretending to be a tragedy and just lets characters be ridiculous together. The pacing never gives you time to think, just time to laugh at what these people do when the weight lifts for one episode.

Between the battles of the main series, these five-minute specials offer scenes from Code Geass R2 that viewers never saw, most of them played for laughs. A year after the failed Black Rebellion, Suzaku serves as a new Knight of Rounds while C.C. and Kallen grow closer on missions for the Black Knights. Lighter moments include a handmade dress party held by the Ashford Academy Student Council and a pajama party among the Black Knights. Mixing drama with comedy and a touch of fan service, the specials show the cast coming to terms with their roles and with one another, and they suit viewers who already know the characters.
