Ivis and Crimrose were friends as children, and this single episode flashes back to the promise the two of them once made to each other. The short ONA comes from the CosmicBreak game, whose wider setting is a far-future parallel dimension called the Cosmic Ark, where giant robots known as Arks wake from a long sleep to find the evil Chaos ruling their galaxy. Rather than following that larger conflict, the episode gives a drama-focused glimpse into the shared past of these two characters.
