The war is already over, and Earth lost. Zero carries that knowledge every single day, hunting the only man who refused to accept it. The long war between Earth and the machine men has ended, but the peace that follows favors the machine men far more than humanity. Warrius Zero lost his family to the machine men during the fighting, yet he still serves in the Earth fleet, which now operates alongside its former enemy. His ship carries a mixed crew of humans and machine men, and it has been handed an almost impossible assignment: capture the space pirate Captain Harlock. As Zero struggles to carry out his orders, signs begin to appear that the peace between Earth and the machine men may not be what it seems. The thirteen-episode TV series mixes action, adventure and science fiction.
