By the end, when it says "This Is Not The End," you realize it means something different than network censorship: it's the crew telling you they're still out there, still moving, still alive.

Session XX, known as Mish-Mash Blues, is a one-episode special stitched together from clips of earlier Cowboy Bebop episodes. The series was briefly pulled from the air amid concerns about on-screen violence and violence in Japanese schools, so this extra installment served as a closing episode for the first thirteen sessions. It aired on TV Tokyo on June 26, 1998. Over the footage, the characters share philosophical commentary, and the episode signs off by promising that the real Cowboy Bebop will arrive someday. It never received a DVD release.
