SYNOPSIS
Judy Abbott escapes the gray walls of an orphanage when a mysterious benefactor offers her a full scholarship to an elite girls' academy. She knows nothing about him except that he's tall, wealthy, and apparently kind enough to fund her education without asking for anything in return. Grateful but curious, she names him Daddy Long Legs and begins writing him letters, pouring out her thoughts about school, friendships, and the strange new world of privilege she's entered.
