A no-name clerk becomes the most dangerous man in the empire by accident. He doesn't win through power or cunning, he wins by being so relentlessly, incomprehensibly stubborn that the system itself breaks trying to contain him. Every official he outwits, every conspiracy he stumbles into, every impossible situation he talks his way out of feels earned because he's genuinely trying to do the right thing and simply refuses to stop, even when stopping would be smarter. The comedy lands because his victory conditions are always ridiculous and he somehow meets them anyway. This is what it looks like when a good person with no special abilities decides the world's corruption is not actually his problem to solve, then solves it anyway.
