Twelve minutes is all you need. Season 2 strips away the meandering bits that bogged down the first run, trades them for new characters who actually shake up the dynamic, and remembers that a show about candy doesn't need to pretend it's saying anything bigger than what it is. The art flattens compared to before, which stings if you loved the original's polish, but the jokes land tighter and the chemistry between Hotaru's chaos and everyone else's exhaustion finally feels earned rather than recycled.
