Three minutes is barely enough time to set up a joke, let alone land it, this show does both before you finish your first laugh. Urata walks through that door expecting a romance protagonist arc. Instead he gets Shima, Sakata, and Senra, three people who exist in their own comedic dimension and have zero interest in his debut narrative. The chaos never stops to explain itself, it just keeps coming at you, and if you're already a fan of the band's actual music, you recognize the same chaotic energy that made you fall in love with them in the first place.

Urata is a transfer student who wants his high school debut to go perfectly and hopes to become the most popular person in his class. Just as he nervously reaches for the door, three other students, Shima, Sakata and Senra, end up standing in his way. Whether they will be rivals, friends or something stranger is left open. The short comedy and slice of life episodes cast the four members of the real vocal unit Urashimasakatasen as high schoolers.
