Amuro trying to be three different people in one day, and the comedy is just him failing at the transitions. The show knows its entire job is watching him drink tea and deflate when nobody's looking. Six episodes of a man pretending to have his life together, and somehow that's more satisfying than most anime twice its length.

Rei Furuya carries three identities at once. As an agent of the Public Security Bureau he is a strict, demanding boss. As the detective Amuro Tooru he plays the keen apprentice. As Bourbon, a member of the shadowy Black Organization, he works as a manipulative informant. This short Detective Conan spinoff, adapted from Arai Takahiro's manga, mixes comedy, drama, action and everyday life as it follows the man called Zero trying to keep all three roles in order, and asks which side of himself he shows when nobody is looking.
