The Dirty Pair never stopped being fun, even when the network did. These final two episodes are pure '80s action comedy DNA: Yuri and Kei cracking jokes while the universe falls apart around them, animation that gets better just when you need it to, and a date subplot that actually feels earned because you've spent a whole series with these characters. This is what happens when a show knows exactly what it is and never apologizes for it.

Kei and Yuri, the pair known as the Lovely Angels and better known as the Dirty Pair, take on two final cases. First they go after a counterfeiter who guards himself with a large array of electronic defenses and lethal robots. Then they try to stop a megalomaniac who has taken Chief Gooley and Eleanor City hostage. The two episodes are the last two of the original TV series, episodes 25 and 26, which came out direct to video in Japan after the broadcast run was canceled. Expect a sci-fi action comedy with an ecchi streak.
