A malfunctioning time machine spits out the Dokachin family: a group of stone-age cavemen with no concept of modern civilization and absolutely zero filter. An explosion during a time warp experiment drops them into a contemporary neighborhood, where nearly everything they see and hear is strange to them. Every episode delivers two separate stories. Confused by their new surroundings, the family ends up smashing things with their stone axes, and each mishap kicks off a fresh round of wild adventures and mischief around the neighborhood. The humor comes from cavemen colliding with the modern world, a fish-out-of-water comedy built on primitive newcomers causing havoc.
