Anime Like Oraa Guzura Dado (1987)
SYNOPSIS
A massive egg tumbles from the crater of Mt. Bikkura, and out stumbles Guzura: a rotund little dinosaur with an appetite for chaos and zero survival instincts. Thrust into a world he doesn't understand, this pint-sized prehistoric oddball careens through daily life leaving a trail of comedic destruction in his wake. Whether he's bumbling through encounters with bewildered humans, tangling with other animals who have no idea what he even is, or simply trying to figure out how to exist in the modern age, Guzura approaches every situation with the confidence of someone who has absolutely no business having any confidence at all. The humor comes from watching this completely out-of-place creature navigate a reality he's fundamentally unprepared for. He's not malicious, just stubborn and hilariously clueless. Guzura's genuine earnestness collides constantly with the impossibility of his situation, creating comedy from pure heart and sheer absurdity. This is straightforward, lighthearted fare built on physical gags and the simple premise of a dinosaur being very, very bad at modern life.
