A folk song animated into something that feels like it's always existed, the kind of thing you stumble on and suddenly understand why your grandmother hummed while doing dishes. The animation moves at the speed of the music, never rushing, never performing. It's a single song that costs nothing and gives back the thing you didn't know you were looking for.

Don Pepe no Uta is a single-episode music video made for a song of the same name, performed by Ado Mizumori together with the Japanese folk group The Shadracks. The piece aired as part of NHK's Minna no Uta program, and Mizumori, who sings on the track, also created the animation for it.
