Tang San and Xiao Wu go back to Slaughter City, now a collapsed ruin after the devastation of the Snow Swan Kiss. Among the wreckage they are chased without pause by the Slaughter King, who has mutated. When capture seems certain, a mysterious girl appears and saves them. Her help comes with dark secrets of its own. Together, the pair work to uncover what lies behind the corruption of Slaughter City. The result is an action fantasy built around pursuit, a rescuer who cannot be taken at face value, and a ruined city hiding the truth.
