A woman's tiny apartment becomes a shared living space with six ghost children nobody else can see. The comedy isn't about jump scares or gimmicks, it's about the absolute mundane horror of your life no longer being yours, the small daily negotiations with spirits who want rice crackers at 3 AM. By the end you're not laughing at the supernatural; you're laughing at how quickly you accept that this is just your life now.
Noel Hiiragi lives alone in a small, worn apartment in a big city and works a dull job at a call center. Without warning, her mother sends her an old, bulky six-drawer chest that barely fits in her room, and when Noel calls to complain, her mother only says it is her turn. After a night of drinking, Noel finds a plump little boy on her floor eating her rice crackers. Soon breakfast appears that she never cooked, her messy kitchen is suddenly spotless, and more strange kids turn up. The chest holds six spirit children who say they serve the current mistress of the Hiiragi family. Noel doubts their explanation and struggles to adjust, unsure whether their help is a blessing or a curse. The film is a short supernatural comedy made for JAniCA's Young Animator Training Project.
