A jilted priestess chasing her runaway groom turns into an excuse to wander through another world at half-speed, letting the cast breathe in ways sequels usually won't. The jokes land because nobody's rushing to save the day. A new demon god shows up with her own plans, and the show treats her schemes with the same casual curiosity it treats everything else, never forcing stakes where they don't belong.
A wedding in El-Hazard falls apart when Fujisawa gets cold feet and abandons Miz at the altar. Furious, the Priestess recruits Makoto and his friends to track down the spineless teacher. During their search, they come across another Ifurita. Elsewhere, Jinnai and Diva are hunting for a new homeland for the Bugrom when they run into yet another Demon God, the mischievous Kalia. Unlike Ifurita, Kalia thinks for herself and has a mission of her own. This four-episode OVA sequel mixes adventure, comedy and fantasy.
