Watanuki walks into that shop wanting to disappear from the supernatural, but what Yuuko actually sells is the mirror. Each wish granted reveals what people already wanted but couldn't admit to themselves, and the price is always paid twice over, once in gold, once in truth. Watanuki's cursed ability to perceive spirits and supernatural entities makes his daily life miserable. Desperate for relief, he stumbles into an impossible shop run by the enigmatic Yuuko, a witch who promises to erase his unwanted sight. The catch: a wish costs something of equal value, so he must pay by working for her as a part-time helper. The job means running odd errands tied to the supernatural and doing chores around the shop, which grants wishes to those who come looking. At Yuuko's request, his crush Himawari and his so-called rival Doumeki sometimes join him, and the three grow closer even though Doumeki gets on his nerves. The atmosphere shifts between darkly comedic and genuinely unsettling, mixing mystery and psychological horror with drama.
