Bedivere's final pilgrimage across a desert that used to be the Holy Land is penance without salvation. The movie looks like divinity being rendered frame by frame. Bedivere, a wandering knight, comes to the end of his long journey in Jerusalem in A.D. 1273. The Holy Land has turned into a vast desert, its people have been driven from their homes, and three great powers are at war across the wasteland. The Knights of the Round Table have gathered to guard the Holy City and their Lion King. Ozymandias, the Sun-King, has been summoned into this strange land along with his entire kingdom, and he quietly schemes against the realm's tyranny. The mountain people, who shelter those who lost their land, wait for their moment to rebel. To carry out his mission, Bedivere sets out for the Holy City, where he meets Ritsuka Fujimaru, humanity's last Master, and the Demi-Servant Mash Kyrielight. The two have come to Jerusalem on their quest to restore human history, and Bedivere joins them. An action fantasy film.
