The premise arrives like a punch: a photographer catches a yakuza boss on film, gets taken, gets broken into something else entirely. What keeps you watching isn't the violence or the sex, it's that both Takaba and Asami are too smart and too broken to ever actually leave each other, and the show knows exactly how toxic that makes them. The animation style (that specific cel-and-pan technique) turns restraint into obsession, forcing you to read everything in the spaces between frames, in the character designs, in what isn't shown.

Akihito Takaba is a 23-year-old freelance photographer who is proud of his work and hungry for a major scoop. When he photographs the business dealings of the crime lord Ryuichi Asami, Asami abducts and sexually assaults him. That begins a sadomasochistic relationship in which the two men keep finding themselves pulled toward each other. Fei Long, a rival Chinese boss who holds Asami responsible for his father's death, also takes an interest in Akihito as he looks for a way to get revenge. The story runs across a two-episode OVA.
