This movie doesn't explain itself and doesn't care. You're thrown into a wasteland where bodies explode in fountains of blood and a man with glowing fists moves through crowds like a force of nature, and the film trusts you to just get it without setup. Every frame is violence as pure spectacle, every kill a signature move, every death final and absolute. It's Mad Max if Mad Max decided subtlety was for cowards. The pacing is relentless because the world is relentless, and Kenshiro doesn't stop to let you catch your breath because the strong don't negotiate with the weak.
