Otokojuku doesn't pretend to be anything but a bonfire of testosterone and ultraviolence disguised as pedagogy. Every class is a battlefield where the lesson plan is written in bruises, and the headmaster treats "character building" like a military campaign against soft spines. This is pure 80s chaos, no irony, no winking at the camera, just a school that beats manhood into delinquents and somehow makes you believe it works.

Otokojuku is a last-chance academy for delinquents who have already been expelled from ordinary schools. The curriculum is anything but conventional: instructors teach Japanese chivalry through feudal and military principles, and the lessons are soaked in violence. Classes play out like scenes from an action movie, and only the students who make it through emerge as true men. Based on the manga of the same name, the series opens as a comedy before shifting into a more serious, fight-driven story in its second half.
