The Moon Festival format turns every plate into a referendum on who you are as a chef, and Souma stops playing defense. Azami's arrival tilts the entire academy into civil war, finally giving the Elite Ten real stakes instead of just intimidating silhouettes. The animation takes visible hits, but the cooking battles still land because the show knows that a perfect dish means nothing if nobody believes you earned it.

Souma Yukihira sets his sights on the Moon Festival, Totsuki Academy's yearly food celebration, where students compete to bring in the most profit from the dishes they choose to sell. While his peers chase sales, Souma has bigger ambitions: he wants to take on the Elite Ten, the council that holds power over the academy. The festival is set as the stage for that challenge, but a hidden scheme begins to take shape in the background, one that threatens to shake Totsuki to its core. Comedy and ecchi humor run alongside the cooking battles.
