Nobody talks about this one. Two mascot characters sit and talk about nothing in particular, and somehow that nothing becomes the entire point, a show that treats two local Japanese mascots like they're real people with real conversations, not props in a sketch. The CGI is deliberately flat, the jokes land quietly, and there's something almost meditative about watching Funassyi and Soutai-kun just exist together. It costs nothing to watch and asks nothing from you except to sit still for a few minutes. That's rarer than you'd think.

Funassyi, the mascot of the Tokyo suburb of Funabashi, and Soutai-kun, a mascot hero who promotes disaster prevention for the Tokyo ward of Nerima, team up to host a variety talk show. Both regional characters appear in CGI animation across 14 online episodes, and the pairing of two local mascots gives the slice-of-life program its easygoing appeal.
