The animation is intentionally horrifying, the pacing refuses to let you catch your breath, and every single frame is a deliberate insult to every BL drama that takes itself seriously. You need to know what it's parodying to feel the full bite of the joke. By episode three you're laughing at the sheer audacity of it, not despite the terrible art but because of it, because every janky frame is the punchline landing exactly where it was supposed to.

Seventeen-year-old Yoshiki Maeda transfers into Baramon High School, a private all-boys academy that draws the best students in the prefecture. There he meets the campus's big personalities: an odd, theatrical homeroom teacher called Teruhiko Saionji, the soccer captain, and Takuya Saotome, a childhood friend he has not seen in seven years. His younger sister Yuu knows all about these handsome boys and likes to tease him about them. Yoshiki soon finds himself surrounded by stock romance characters and has to put up with their absurd boys' love antics in this short comedy series.
