Saiki's deadpan internal monologue is the only thing standing between you and complete chaos, and Season 2 leans into that harder. The new cast members don't dilute the chemistry, they multiply the ways everything goes wrong around him, each one hitting differently against his perfect monotone. You rewatch it because the rapid-fire gags hide character moments you missed the first time, and by episode six you're laughing at jokes that land three episodes later.

Kusuo Saiki is a talented psychic who wants nothing more than a normal, quiet existence, and that wish keeps slipping away from him. He has gotten used to handling the difficult friends who stand most in the way of his calm, but he is far from finished with them. Season two brings a handful of newcomers whose antics pile onto his misery, pushing a hassle-free life even further out of reach. The result is a supernatural slice-of-life comedy about one psychic's losing battle for normalcy.
