A slapstick comedy OVA that treats absurdist chaos like it's a legitimate heist plot. The Goemon crew shows up to steal from a castle and immediately loses control of the premise to pure comedic violence. Every gag escalates until the joke isn't the punchline anymore, it's that nobody can stop what they've started. It's a one-shot that doesn't care if you know the franchise, just that you're willing to watch grown men get destroyed by their own incompetence. The animation commitment to every pratfall is what makes it work, this could have been lazy, instead it's deliberate slapstick at full speed. Built for people who think a 24-minute comedy should feel like surviving an explosion.
