Seria's memory is fractured, she doesn't know if she's real or reconstructed, and the show builds its entire architecture around that vertigo, making every performance a desperate act of self-discovery rather than spectacle. The theater becomes a place where five broken people use holograms and metaphor to ask questions about identity that the show itself refuses to answer cleanly. Five years after a mysterious disaster ravages cities around the world, including a large part of Ikebukuro, strange electromagnetic anomalies called Auroras have begun to appear. High school student Seria Morino is moved to become an idol after watching Izumi Hinazaki perform in a hologram-enhanced play. Soon after, she is scouted by Kaoru Sakakibara, director of Alice in Theater, the small troupe Izumi once belonged to, which hopes to lift the world's spirits through 3D hologram performances. The passionate young members welcome Seria warmly, but something seems off, and she begins to uncover surprising truths about herself and her world. Expect a psychological sci-fi drama.
