The Lantern Rite comes around once a year, and people travel home from distant places to be together again. Reunited, they talk over the happy and painful moments of the past and send good wishes toward the coming year. The fireworks eventually burn out, but the shared laughter leaves a gentle warmth that stays with them. A single-episode fantasy ONA with a slice-of-life focus, it centers on reunion and festive atmosphere rather than a driving plot.
