A boy and an old man sail the Milky Way in a fish-shaped constellation to stop stars from dying. The premise sounds like a children's fable, but the execution is pure visual poetry, astronomy and mythology colliding without explanation or apology. Nobody remembers this one exists anymore. That's the real tragedy.

Urey, a boy also listed as Yuri, lives in a laboratory in a lake with an old man, his grandfather. One day the two spot a strange star in the Little Dipper. Stars start to vanish, and the Little Dipper reshapes itself into the form of a fish. Hoping to save the stars and learn why they are disappearing, the pair set sail across the Milky Way, home of the starfish, toward the place where a mysterious monster fish lives. The result is a short fantasy adventure told in a single OVA episode.
