Gintama on Theater 2D: Kintama-hen is a theatrical compilation of the Kintama Arc, which aired as episodes 253 through 256, the first four episodes of the show's third season. The film gathers that storyline into a single feature and adds footage the broadcast did not include. Released in 2024 as part of the Gintama 20th Anniversary Project, it blends action, comedy and science fiction.
