A man reborn as human doesn't spend five episodes angsting about lost power, he gardens, he laughs, he figures things out alongside a half-snake woman who actually challenges him instead of worshipping him. The two become friends despite their differences, yet outside forces bring trouble, including dangerous monsters gathering near the village. Adapted from a light novel series, the show is an action fantasy adventure.
