SYNOPSIS

Running for his life through the darkness, he's saved by Nyarlko, a shapeshifting cosmic entity who wears the form of a cheerful silver-haired girl but is actually something far weirder and older. Turns out the universe is packed with aliens, gods, and things that shouldn't exist, and they've all got their eyes on Mahiro for reasons he's still trying to understand. What follows is controlled chaos. Nyarlko moves into his house, other otherworldly beings start showing up uninvited, and Mahiro's normal life becomes increasingly absurd. The show plays everything for laughs, mixing sci-fi concepts with romantic comedy timing and fourth-wall humor. Nyarlko herself is relentlessly enthusiastic about her new human and his safety, which creates most of the comedy. Between the rapid-fire gags, pop culture references, and constant shapeshifting shenanigans, this is comedy that doesn't take itself seriously for even a second.
