MechatroWeGo are robots that children can pilot and operate themselves. Satoru's WeGo is an old one, a gift from his grandmother. When the kids meet at their secret base to race their WeGos, Satoru finds he cannot take that first step forward. His classmate Akira then invites him to race once more. Set in a seaside town in the near future, the film is the story of a boy and his robot.
