This is a single episode about a boy and a girl crossing a desert of fire. The world is ending. They move through it anyway. No dialogue for stretches. The animation shifts between watercolor and ink, between soft and sharp, matching what the characters see as real and what breaks that reality. By the end, you understand what it cost them to keep moving. The closing image sits with you.
