The show lets you sit quietly in a room with people you've come to need. Sae and Hiro's graduation isn't treated like an ending, it's just the next ordinary day in a place where ordinary days are the whole point. You watch four girls study for exams and eat snacks together, and somehow that's enough to make you feel something real about growing up and moving on.

Sae and Hiro are living out their final days as high school students at Hidamari Apartment, and graduation is close. The other residents of the building support the pair and get ready to see them off. The OVA runs two episodes: the first covers the final exams along with the university entrance tests, and the second covers the graduation itself. It is a comedy and slice of life story adapted from Aoki Ume's four-panel manga, which ran in Manga Time Kirara Carat.
