A children's song wrapped in the kind of folk-rock energy that makes you want to move immediately. The music carries the whole thing; BAKUFU SLUMP builds a world where a pig on an eastern island becomes the reason you can't get the melody out of your head. It's the kind of thing NHK knows how to do better than anyone else, where a simple image and a perfect hook become the entire story.

Higashi no Shima ni Kobuta ga Ita is a short animated music video set to a song of the same name by BAKUFU SLUMP, a rock group from Japan. The single piece was shown as part of Minna no Uta, a music program broadcast by NHK.
