That tonal confidence, that willingness to stack ridiculous premise on top of ridiculous premise without winking, is exactly what makes forgotten 80s OVAs feel dangerous in a way modern anime forgot how to be.

Teenager Kanemori Kousuke leads a double life as a secret agent for VN, an international spy network. He relies on his computer hacking skills to track down criminals operating around the world. His missions eventually take him to the Arctic, where Neo-Nazis are trying to bring up a U-boat that hides a sinister secret, and Kousuke sets out to stop them. Adapted from a manga by Tanimura Hitoshi that ran in Comic Burger, this two-episode OVA from 1987 mixes action and drama in a teenage spy story.
