It grabs you by the collar for a few minutes and then leaves without explaining itself, and you rewatch it anyway. Two teasers, a year apart, and both spend their entire budget on movement: fluid sakuga, fight choreography with actual weight behind it, and thirty-plus hololive talents animated with enough care that you can clock your oshi in a single frame of crowd staging. There is no plot here. Reviewers who came for story left annoyed, and they are not wrong, because nothing in either PV tells you what hololive Alternative actually is. But that is the trade: this is the FGO-trailer school of hype, all momentum and no exposition, pacing that never lets a shot sit. If you've only known these girls through Holo no Graffiti gags and stream clips, watching them rendered like this hits somewhere unreasonable.
