Jingliu's fall from grace plays out like a tragedy that refuses to look away. This is a swordmaster so skilled she cuts through the people sent to stop her, then disappears, and the show spends its entire runtime asking the question nobody wants answered: what breaks someone that good. By the time it reaches Yanqing years later, you understand that the real fight wasn't against the mara or the Cloud Knights, it was against becoming irrelevant, and some people would rather be monsters than forgotten.

In the year 7380 of the Star Calendar, Jingliu, a swordmaster of the Luofu afflicted by mara, cuts her way past the Cloud Knights sent to subdue her at Starskiff Haven and disappears into history. More than seven centuries later, the young soldier Yanqing wins renown at a tournament held by the Seat of Divine Foresight and is named a Cloud Knight Lieutenant. Framed around a sparring match between a master and a student, this single-episode action fantasy ONA reflects on how time can race past in an instant yet leave old memories feeling as vivid as yesterday.
