Kirby wakes up on a planet he doesn't know with no memory of how he got there. Within minutes he's eating everything in sight and somehow that solves problems. The show knows exactly what it is: a kid's adventure that treats a pink puffball's appetite like a superpower and never apologizes for the absurdity.

A mysterious pink creature named Kirby crash-lands his starship on the unfamiliar planet Popstar. This short pilot is an early take on the Kirby anime that became Kirby: Right Back At Ya!, and it blends 3D computer graphics with 2D animation much as the later show does. It has no voice acting or narration, and it first appeared on a special DVD bundled with a gaming magazine to mark the Japanese release of Kirby Air Ride. It is a brief comedic fantasy adventure.
