Sara starts the show as a ghost in human skin, running a hotel for people who kill for money. Watching her build something real with Ikuro, one small conversation at a time, is what anchors the entire thing. The premise is killer, but the show knows its actual story is about two people learning how to matter to each other inside a place that exists outside every law. The animation stumbles, but the character work doesn't. This is about humanity in a place designed to destroy it.

Hotel Inhumans is a hotel built to serve assassins, offering fine food and relaxation alongside weapons, forged identities and help getting rid of evidence. Two concierges, Ikuro Hoshi and Sara Haizaki, handle every request their guests make and never turn one down. Ikuro researches the histories and careers of the clientele, while Sara guards the hotel with abilities that rival those of the killers who stay there. Ikuro loathes people who murder for money and announces every day that he will quit. Yet each job he and Sara complete shows him more of the unexpected humanity inside their guests, and he begins to see that assassins are not so different from the two of them. This 2025 action drama runs for 13 episodes.
